PromptEase values your privacy. This extension is designed to help you save prompts, expand text shortcuts, and sync them securely across devices.

Information We Collect

Google Account Information (Email only): Collected when you sign in with Google, used to link your shortcuts and settings to your account.

Shortcuts and Settings: Saved locally in your browser and optionally backed up to your Google Drive (if you enable sync).

How We Use Your Information

• To store and sync your prompts/shortcuts securely across devices.
• To restore your content if you reinstall or switch devices.
• To associate your data with your Google account for backup purposes.

What We Don’t Do

• We do not access, read, or modify files in your Google Drive outside of the files created by PromptEase.
• We do not share or sell your personal information to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Security

All data is stored using Google’s secure APIs. You are in control of your data and can delete it from Chrome storage or Google Drive at any time.
